Photo Diary: Scopèrta

The anticipation had been building for months as my two friends, Delphine and Andrés, and I meticulously planned our dream road trip across three captivating European countries – Corsica, Italy, and France.

Equipped with my trusty point-and-shoot camera fastened to my side, I eagerly captured every moment that unfolded before us throughout our travels. As fate would have it, my lack of skill in driving a stick shift turned out to be a blessing in disguise, allowing me to focus more on capturing the beauty of our surroundings. From the rolling countryside to the awe-inspiring architecture and the vibrant tapestry of cultures, every snapshot served as a testament to the richness and diversity that graced our journey.

It was such a pleasure to be able to explore these places. Corsica had pristine beaches and charming coastal and mountain towns. Italy's rich cultural heritage, depicted through its ancient architecture, delectable cuisine, and warm hospitality, provided a trove of amazing photographs. France, with its iconic landmarks and sophisticated culture, offered a multifaceted backdrop for our European road trip. Immersing ourselves in these different cultures was such a treat and left an everlasting impression on us.

In these photographs, we found more than just images; we discovered a part of ourselves intertwined with the places we visited and the people we shared those moments with.
